The Amazon Project

The Amazon Project is a partnership of Mormaii with PDBFF through the National Institute of Amazon Researches (INPA), where part of the money from the sales of Mormaii Amazon sunglasses is intended to the preservation of the biggest rainforest in the world. See more at: www.projetoamazonia.com.br

Blue Destination

The Blue Destination Project has accomplished many objectives in its trajectory, among them, the Brazilian coast windsurf crossing from Chuí to Oiapoque, which was registered in the Guiness Book as well as in the book called Storms and Calms. The project is currently in its most audacious phase, a fantastic sailing trip around the world with the adventurers Diogo Guerreiro and Flávio Jardim aboard of Catamaran Itusca. Karumbé Project

The Karumbé Project (which means turtle in Guarani) has been running since1999 on protection of sea turtles and awareness of human beings. Mormaii provides equipments to improve the work conditions of the group of researchers and collaborators in several countries. One of the bases is in Cerro Verde, located near the border Brazil-Uruguay and develops projects in this area, which is the first marine protected area of Uruguay. Access: www.karumbe.org

Brazilian Coast Expedition

The Brazilian Coast Expedition seeks to live with coast communities in order to get enough material to publish the book “Brazilian Coast”, which will portray cultures and natural beauties, bringing along the flag of environmental consciousness. Access: Expedição Costa do Brasil.

Dunes off Santa Caratina Expedition

The Dunes of Santa Catarina Expedition Project aims to explore the main spots for the practice of sandboarding in Satna Catarina. The goal is to disseminate and promote the sport, to portray the visited cities and landscape under the point of view of tourism and culture. Access: Dunas Catarinenses and follow this adventure.
