After shining in the major professional championship of kart of the world, Bruna Tomaselli (Mormaii), from Santa Catarina, was crowned champion of Santa Catarina, on Sunday (27/11) in Indaial (SC). With the title, the girl ended a year full of achievements

Excited about her performance in the Super Nationals SKUSA, held last week in Las Vegas, USA, Tomaselli arrived confident to Indaial. Competing in the Junior category, the pilot thought it would be possible to achieve a good result in her last competition of 2011.

“I wanted to close my participation in the Junior category with the title and knew it would be possible but not easy,” said  the athlete from Santa Catarina.

Already in training, Tomaselli showed her favoritism. Always very fast, the athlete from Santa Catarina evolved at every turn. In making time, the pilot took pole-position.

In the first series, Tomaselli had no difficulty in winning the race. In the second race, the pilot got tangled with another competitor and finished in second place. In the third test, which define the champion, proved that she is in a great moment and won the race, which confirmed the championship of title of Santa Catarina.

“I had won the championship of Rio Grande do Sul, but not the one of Santa Catarina. This year was very good and now we are preparing to enter 2012 inthe Graduate category (the main category of the Brazilian Kart), which will be very difficult,” said the winner.
