Besides the best professional surfers the South American continent under 20 years old, the fourth edition of Mormaii Pro Junior brings news for the 2012.
The first is the change of place, which happens to be the Praia da Vila in Imbituba, south of Santa Catarina, the second is the value of the prize that happens to be $ 10,000, being classified as a stage of two stars in the Men’s category, and 500 points in the South American U-20 ranking. In the women category, the award continues of $ 2 000 and 250 ranking points.
The four South American selectives of this year classify to four athletes for the Pro Junior World Tour of the ASP, in the Men category, and two athletes in the Women category. Get together in the Brazilian team the two best Under-20 surfers in the world ranking unified of ASP.
Surfers from four countries will be fighting for the vacancies, and registration for this fourth edition of Mormaii Pro Junior can be made until the day 12/07 through the website of the ASP South America-www.aspsouthamerica.com.br, 100 dollars more statutory rate of $ 100.
The Mormaii athletes, Wesley Santos, from São Paulo, 17 years old and Alcides Lopes Neto from Santa Catarina, of São Francisco do Sul, 16 years, are already training hard for the competition.
Who also already confirmed their presence is the South American champion 2011 Gabriela Leite, from Santa Catarina, who already lived in Imbituba, and knows the Vila´s waves.
