COME TO THE 12TH EDITION OF MORMAII CHAMPIONSHIP BRASILIENSE OF SURF!

When an event overcomes ten years, it becomes a tradition in the sports scene. Once again, the “Movimento dos Sem Praia” invites athletes of surf and stand up paddle from all Brazil to attend the 12th Mormaii Brasiliense of Surf, in Florianópolis (SC).
On 26 and 27 January, the people of the federal capital has this excellent reason to meet in Santa Catarina. The surfing competition takes place in one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil and 2 km from Mormaii Surf Bar
The championship Mormaii Brasiliense of Surf began as a meeting of people who surfed in Cerrado and Brasília.
Three generations of surfers of Cerrado already participated in this special event. The sports fans who live in Cerrado practice activities related to surf on Lake Paranoá. The main activity is promoted by Mormaii stores in Brasilia (Brazilian Championship of Wakesurf Mormaii).
This initiative of Mormaii was a success, promoting the development of surfers who live in the countryside. The level has been increasing, with many surfers who can guarantee the title.
Last year, the winners on the Silveira beach were Marcos Feijó, in category Cerrado, Victor Borges, in the National Open category, and Paulo Sefton, in the Stand Up Paddle.
The Mormaii Brasiliense of Surf receives bands and musicians of Brasilia, who present live.
A true celebration of peace, love, health and surf, which is part of the sporting calendar of Mormaii, which is sponsoring the event since its founding in 1997.
